Business Development Officer – Biotech

About the role

Diyalo Technologies is looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive growth in the biotechnology, environmental, wastewater management, and WASH sectors. You will identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and support the company’s expansion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client outreach.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and reports.
• Coordinate with clients throughout the business development process and support contract negotiations.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and recommend strategies to improve market presence.
• Assist in project coordination, ensuring timely communication and status reporting.
• Support branding initiatives, promotional campaigns, networking events, seminars, and exhibitions.
• Represent the organization at industry events and professional meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in biotech or related sectors.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Result‑driven mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
