Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive new merchant acquisition for Buy & Stamp’s loyalty and CRM platform. Working from Pokhara with hybrid flexibility, you will identify, qualify, and close opportunities with small and medium‑sized businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads, building a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct product demonstrations and prepare tailored proposals.
• Negotiate terms and close deals to increase platform adoption.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and product enhancements.
• Analyze market trends and provide feedback for product development.
• Build long‑term client relationships, support onboarding, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven new‑business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing.
• Strong analytical abilities and basic finance knowledge to assess commercial opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with solid service orientation.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in SaaS, tech, or small‑business solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, meet performance targets, and manage time effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
