Claim Management Operations Trainee

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Trainee to join its team in Kathmandu. The role suits recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a foundation in healthcare operations, medical claims management, data processing and client service. It is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where candidates with internship, customer service or operational support experience are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Support the submission and processing of medical claims to insurance payers according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in accurately posting and reconciling patient and insurance payments.
• Perform data entry, claims processing, auditing and operational support while maintaining quality standards.
• Review claims and related information to spot discrepancies, missing documentation or data inconsistencies and take appropriate action.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with operational processes and service-level expectations.
• Contribute to daily productivity and quality objectives while staying attentive to detail.
• Take part in cross-functional training and complete assigned projects, training programmes and other responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, flexibility to work night shifts, and a positive, curious attitude.
• Preferred: internship or prior experience in operations, administration, healthcare services, customer support or related fields, and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
