About the role
The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part‑time remote position responsible for organizing, supporting, and engaging volunteers involved in logistics and supply‑chain initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers for logistics‑related programs.
- Maintain schedules, assignments, and accurate records of volunteer activities.
- Monitor performance, provide guidance, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify volunteer needs and conduct community outreach.
- Communicate regularly via email, messaging platforms, and virtual meetings.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust with diverse volunteers.
- Experience or interest in community outreach and partnership development.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working remotely using digital collaboration tools.
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination, nonprofit work, or community programs is a plus.
