Creative Video Editor for Social Media & Marketing

About the role

MarginTop Solutions is seeking a creative Video Editor to transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media, product demos, tutorials, marketing campaigns and client presentations. The role is full‑time, hybrid, based in Kathmandu.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce video content tailored for various platforms, including short‑form social media clips and longer product demos.
• Add transitions, color grading, sound effects, motion graphics and other visual elements to enhance storytelling.
• Create short‑form content for marketing campaigns and social media channels.
• Record video material when required and manage video/media assets efficiently.
• Optimize videos for web, mobile and social platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios and export settings.
• Collaborate closely with design, development and marketing teams to maintain brand consistency.
• Deliver projects on schedule while upholding quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong video editing and storytelling abilities.
• Experience with CapCut, Canva and AI video tools such as HeyGen.
• Knowledge of color grading, motion graphics and basic sound editing.
• Ability to record and produce video content.
• Understanding of social‑media video formats, aspect ratios and export settings.
• Creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant education or practical experience in video, multimedia, design or a related field.
