Data Scientists – Mid & Senior Roles (Hybrid, Kathmandu)

About the role

We are looking for passionate Data Scientists to join our hybrid team in Kathmandu. The role focuses on building and deploying machine‑learning and deep‑learning solutions, with an emphasis on NLP, generative AI and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy ML and deep‑learning models.
• Build scalable AI solutions using Python, SQL, and Databricks.
• Design NLP, generative AI, and RAG pipelines.
• Manage experiments and model lifecycle with MLflow.
• Optimize PyTorch and TensorFlow models for production.
• Collaborate with data‑engineering teams for large‑scale data preparation and validation.
• Implement MLOps, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Conduct feature engineering, model analysis, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI architecture and data‑science best practices.

Required profile

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• 2+ years (mid‑level) or 5+ years (senior/lead) experience in machine learning.
• Good knowledge of NLP, generative AI, and RAG applications.
• Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, model deployment, and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of statistics, data analysis, and feature engineering.
• Ability to work with large‑scale structured and unstructured datasets.
