Dentist Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a licensed dentist to work as a Subject Matter Expert on a remote, hourly contractor basis. You will review and create AI‑generated dental and oral‑health content, evaluate clinical reasoning, and provide detailed written feedback to improve the safety and accuracy of AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard answers covering diagnosis, treatment planning, emergencies, prescribing, and patient counseling.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance correctness, safety, clarity, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations, bias, and validate reliability across patient populations and use cases.

Required profile

• DDS/DMD (or equivalent) with active dental licensure (or eligibility) and at least 5 years of clinical experience in general, hospital, community, or specialty dentistry.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis, red‑flag recognition, and urgent versus routine triage.
• Deep knowledge of oral disease processes, dental materials, procedural fundamentals, and medication safety.
• Exceptional attention to detail for fact‑checking, identifying unsafe assumptions, contraindications, and patient‑safety implications.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in a remote, hourly workflow across time zones.
