Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO)

About the role

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer will support the CEO in steering Nepal Digital Payments Company Limited towards its strategic objectives. This senior executive role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving growth in the digital payments sector.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and senior management.
• Provide leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
• Develop and implement business strategies that enhance revenue and market share.
• Ensure compliance with Nepal Rastra Bank regulations and internal policies.
• Oversee internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting.
• Represent the company in industry forums and with key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification or a Master’s degree in Management, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Electronics, IT, or Computer Science.
• Minimum five years of experience at officer level or higher in banking, financial services, IT, or related industries.
• In-depth knowledge of prevailing laws, Nepal Rastra Bank directives, and corporate governance.
• Ability to motivate teams, make strategic decisions, and drive business growth.
