DG Operator

About the role

We are looking for skilled operators and technicians to run diesel generators up to 2000 kVA. The role involves ensuring reliable power supply by operating, monitoring, and performing basic maintenance on the equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Start, stop, and control diesel generators according to operational procedures.
• Continuously monitor performance parameters and fuel consumption.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks.
• Troubleshoot minor faults and coordinate with senior maintenance staff for complex issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of operating hours, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating diesel generators or similar power equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance.
• Ability to work in shift patterns and respond to emergency power demands.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
