About the role
CACTUS offers language editing services to help researchers publish their work. As an Editor, you will combine your language expertise and subject‑area knowledge to support researchers worldwide in producing high‑quality scientific English manuscripts.
Key responsibilities
- Edit manuscripts to ensure they are written in standard scientific English and free of unclear or unidiomatic sentences.
- Follow job‑specific guidelines and format manuscripts according to the target journal when required.
- Ensure all subject‑specific conventions are adhered to.
Required profile
- PhD degree in the relevant subject area.
- Excellent English proficiency and strong attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in scientific English editing.
- Familiarity with subject‑specific conventions and journal formatting guidelines.
