Education Coordinator – Primary & Secondary School

About the role

The Education Coordinator is a full‑time, on‑site position at DEV PUBLIC SCHOOL in Janakpur, Nepal. The role involves planning and coordinating academic programmes, aligning daily teaching activities with the school curriculum, and providing instructional resources and training to educators.

Key responsibilities

• Organise class schedules, monitor classroom practices and support the implementation of pedagogy and assessment standards.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, learners and families, address inquiries and ensure a positive, learner‑centred environment.
• Collaborate with school leadership to review programme effectiveness and assist with school events, workshops and other educational initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in education and pedagogy with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Education or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide professional, empathetic support to diverse learners, educators and families.
• Experience in training, workshop organisation or coordinating professional development activities.
• Prior experience in school coordination, teaching or academic administration is preferred.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and detail‑orientation abilities, with cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work on‑site in a diverse community.
