Electrician – Plant Maintenance & Shift Operations

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our plant operations team on a shift basis. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, ensuring continuous production, and supporting water treatment and plumbing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly to major and minor machinery breakdowns across the plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in process and production equipment, including distillation units, fermentation tanks, boilers, motors, pumps, and conveyors.
• Repair and maintain old electrical spares, panels, and switchgear.
• Install and maintain wiring, control circuits, and lighting systems throughout the facility.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Identify problems using testing devices and document findings.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on energy consumption, diesel usage, and equipment checklists.
• Operate and monitor the RO water treatment plant during shift hours.
• Attend to plumbing-related complaints, repairing pipelines, valves, taps, and drainage systems.
• Hand over shift details, ongoing tasks, and maintenance status to the next team.
• Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good condition and work rotational shifts as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in rotating shift patterns.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
• Capability to prepare accurate daily operational reports.
