About the role
The English Teacher will deliver engaging language and literature lessons to secondary school students at Toran Navjeevan Secondary School. The role focuses on developing students' communication skills and fostering a love for English literature.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver English lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Create lesson plans that address diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Integrate multimedia tools and varied teaching methods.
- Encourage exploration of novels, poetry and plays.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings.
- Attend parent‑teacher conferences and professional development sessions.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, grades and performance.
Required profile
- Strong command of the English language.
- Creative and inspiring teaching approach.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (24 months).
