Executive – Accounts (Plant)

About the role

This position is responsible for day‑to‑day accounting at the Bhairahawa plant of Brilliant Lighting Industries. You will record transactions, perform reconciliations and support the monthly close while adhering to finance standards set in Kathmandu. It is an ideal role for an accountant seeking early exposure to manufacturing, SEZ and customs processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record all plant transactions accurately and on time – purchases, expenses, material movement, and payroll input.
• Process supplier invoices and contractor payments after verification against supporting documentation.
• Maintain petty cash and expense records for the plant.
• Reconcile plant bank, supplier and stock accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare plant‑level schedules for the monthly close according to the Finance calendar.
• Maintain filing and records to satisfy audit, SEZ and customs inspections.
• Support preparation of customs and SEZ documentation.
• Provide plant expenditure data for budget variance reporting.

Required profile

• At least 24 months of relevant accounting experience.
• Interest in manufacturing environments and exposure to SEZ and customs procedures.
