Exploration Manager – Lead Multi-Mineral Projects

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead mineral exploration programmes across multiple licences in Nepal. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape the exploration strategy, supervise field operations, and drive projects from reconnaissance to detailed drilling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s multi‑project exploration strategy in collaboration with senior management.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise field programmes including mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys, trenching and drilling.
• Prioritise targets based on geological potential, data quality and commercial considerations.
• Prepare annual exploration budgets, work schedules and monitor performance against milestones and licence commitments.
• Review and interpret geological, geochemical, geophysical and spatial data to generate and evaluate targets.
• Lead and mentor the exploration team, allocate resources and manage external contractors.
• Integrate GIS and remote‑sensing datasets for target identification and adopt modern exploration technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑licence mineral exploration programmes.
• Strong geological expertise with a track record of advancing projects to drilling.
• Ability to lead technical teams, manage budgets and ensure statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.
