Factory Manager – Manufacturing (Building Materials)

About the role

The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Factory Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations of a building‑materials manufacturing plant. The role involves overseeing production, managing staff, ensuring quality standards, and driving overall factory efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor production activities to meet targets and deadlines.
• Supervise factory staff, production teams and ensure effective use of manpower, raw materials and machinery.
• Monitor production processes for efficiency, productivity and consistent output.
• Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, procurement, inventory and other relevant departments.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance and utilization of equipment and minimize downtime.
• Track product quality, enforce compliance with quality standards and address issues promptly.
• Manage inventory levels, material requirements and reduce production waste.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Management, Engineering, Production Management, Operations Management or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in the building‑materials sector.
• Strong understanding of factory operations, production planning and resource coordination.
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage production teams to achieve organizational goals.
