Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive will lead daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting and support both internal and statutory audits for Asian Paints Nepal. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain compliance with financial regulations and drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end closing, including provisions, prepaid expenses, depreciation postings and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Review and monitor journal entries, expense allocations and cost‑centre accuracy.
• Conduct regular balance‑sheet reviews and verify production orders and batch costing.
• Assist internal audit teams by providing required documentation.
• Prepare and submit annual regulatory reports to government authorities.
• Coordinate quarterly inventory checks and annual fixed‑asset verification.
• Manage accounts payable functions, including sundry deposits and issuance of WHT certificates.
• Handle fixed‑asset capitalization, monitor Capex budget utilization and review CWIP.
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly indirect tax returns and ensure timely tax deposits.
• Generate financial MIS reports for management review and identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail.
• Proven capability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and audit processes.
