Finance Officer (Fixed-term, 4 days/week)

About the role

The Finance Officer will support the financial management of the Sustainable Universal Neonatal And Under‑five Life Outcomes (SUNAULO) project and day‑to‑day financial activities of the Nepal Paediatric Society (NEPAS). Based in the NEPAS office in Kathmandu, the role is part‑time (four days per week) on a fixed‑term contract until May 2029.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, process invoices and monitor expenditures for SUNAULO.
• Ensure compliance with donor and organisational financial policies.
• Prepare regular financial statements and reports for RCPCH Global and NEPAS.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate financial matters with field teams during visits to Lumbini Province.
• Assist with routine NEPAS financial operations, including payroll and cash management.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management, preferably within NGOs or health projects.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work four days per week on site in Kathmandu until May 2029.
