Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Finance Officer to support Bhat Bhateni Food Products’ financial operations. The role involves accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, monitoring cash flow and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Assist with VAT, tax filings, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare related reports.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal departments for financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting accuracy.
• Perform other finance‑related duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Head of Finance.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage daily finance activities and support the Finance Department.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
