Investment Officer – Private Equity

About the role

NIBL Equity Partners is seeking a detail‑oriented Investment Officer to support the financial success of its portfolio companies throughout the pre‑ and post‑investment phases.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of portfolio companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Track and evaluate key financial and operational performance metrics, providing insights to management and investors.
• Conduct periodic valuations of portfolio companies and monitor investment performance using IRR, MOIC, and cash‑on‑cash returns.
• Ensure tax compliance, prepare tax filings, and advise on tax‑efficient structures and strategic tax planning.
• Support mergers and acquisitions activities, including financial due diligence, deal structuring, and evaluation of growth opportunities.
• Identify potential risks within portfolio companies and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to investors, delivering regular updates on portfolio performance.
• Assist portfolio companies in strengthening governance frameworks and internal controls to align with best practices.
