Food & Beverage Associate – Bhaktapur

About the role

The Food & Beverage Associate will work on‑site at Hotel Dachi in Bhaktapur, supporting daily operations of the restaurant, bar/café and event services. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure each guest enjoys a warm, efficient experience that reflects the hotel’s heritage‑inspired hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout dining areas.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to deliver accurate orders and timely service.
• Assist with buffet and banquet service for conferences and special events.
• Respond to guest inquiries, recommend menu items and handle basic billing processes.
• Follow hotel policies on food safety, presentation and service quality.

Required profile

• Strong food service and beverage knowledge, including order taking and menu familiarity.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic culinary skills and understanding of hygiene and presentation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in hotels, restaurants or cafés preferred; heritage or boutique property experience a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
