Front Desk Officer

About the role

The Front Desk Officer will be the first point of contact for visitors, students and partners at Ten Hill Education’s Lalitpur campus. Working full‑time on‑site, you will ensure a welcoming and efficiently managed reception area while supporting daily administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, students and partners, directing them to the appropriate departments.
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, maintain visitor logs and schedule appointments.
• Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area and manage front‑desk records.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, and perform basic office administration such as data entry and document filing.
• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to support student services, documentation and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and the ability to work independently.
• Completion of secondary education; a diploma or degree in business, management or a related field is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a front‑desk, administrative or customer‑facing role, preferably within an educational or service‑oriented organization.

Required skills

• Operation of office equipment such as telephones, printers, scanners and photocopiers.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email, calendar management and word‑processing software.
