GEO Specialist – AI Search & SEO

About the role

We are seeking an experienced GEO Specialist to lead Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI‑search visibility initiatives for multiple clients across diverse industries. The role blends cutting‑edge AI search platform expertise with a solid foundation in traditional SEO to ensure brands are discovered, understood, and recommended in emerging AI environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute GEO and AI‑search visibility strategies for a portfolio of client accounts.
• Analyze how large language models (LLMs) represent client brands and identify gaps in mentions, citations, and entity signals.
• Create and maintain structured prompt libraries for informational, commercial, transactional, comparison, and local searches.
• Track AI visibility metrics, brand mentions, recommendations, and competitor performance.
• Analyze source citations used by AI platforms and recommend actions to strengthen brand authority.
• Design GEO‑focused content strategies, including FAQs, guides, comparisons, statistics, and original research.
• Align content, digital PR, backlinks, and topical authority with GEO objectives.
• Conduct supporting SEO activities: keyword research, search‑intent analysis, on‑page, technical, and backlink analysis.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic visibility, technical health, and overall search performance.
• Prepare bi‑weekly and monthly GEO/SEO performance reports with actionable insights.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level SEO/GEO executives and review deliverables for quality.
• Research updates across major AI search platforms and test emerging GEO methodologies.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of relevant SEO, GEO, or digital‑marketing experience, preferably in an agency or multi‑client setting.
• Strong practical understanding of GEO, LLMs, AI‑powered search, AI citations, and entity optimization.
• Hands‑on experience analyzing responses from platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, or similar.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and guide junior team members.

• Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
• WordPress, Shopify, Wix/Wix Studio, custom website platforms.
