GM of Project Acquisition

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead our land acquisition initiatives, aligning them with the company’s strategic objectives. The GM of Project Acquisition will drive the identification, negotiation and secure acquisition of properties that support our real‑estate development pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term acquisition strategies and maintain a sustainable pipeline of high‑growth land opportunities.
• Conduct market research, monitor trends and perform feasibility studies to identify investment prospects.
• Lead negotiations with owners, developers and other stakeholders to secure commercially viable properties.
• Oversee technical due diligence, ensuring land suitability for development projects.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and manage ownership disputes.
• Design and implement recovery strategies for timely collection of land‑related receivables.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with acquisition activities.
• Manage acquisition budgets, align spending with financial plans and allocate departmental resources.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate the Research & Acquisition team to meet departmental goals.
• Prepare and present acquisition reports to senior leadership and recommend strategic opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Urban Planning or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in land acquisition or real‑estate development, including at least 4 years in senior leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of land acquisition processes, real‑estate law, property valuation and risk management.
• Proven strategic planning, negotiation and decision‑making abilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
