GM of Project Development

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead project development initiatives at a prominent real estate firm in Bishalnagar. This senior position offers the chance to drive strategic growth, oversee large‑scale projects, and ensure successful delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and development of real estate projects, aligning them with strategic objectives and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive execution plans, master schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee engineering and technical functions, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards, building codes, and best practices.
• Direct and monitor construction activities, managing timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Manage procurement planning and vendor selection to secure timely availability of materials and services.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and control project budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and performance reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in real estate development or construction management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale real estate projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, procurement, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
