About the role

Karkhana is a Nepal‑based education organization that transforms science learning through hands‑on, curiosity‑driven programs. The Grant School Coordinator will oversee the implementation of the Karkhana Science Grant Program in 270 public schools, ensuring each school receives the resources, training, and support needed to improve classroom science education.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the rollout of the science program across assigned grant schools and track implementation progress.
• Facilitate teacher onboarding, orientation, and participation in Karkhana Virtual College trainings.
• Monitor teacher certification (KUSOED STEP) and arrange mentoring, classroom observations, and follow‑up support.
• Maintain regular communication with school principals, teachers, regional coordinators, and local government representatives.
• Collect monthly reports, bi‑weekly updates, classroom media, and success stories from schools.
• Identify schools needing additional assistance and coordinate targeted interventions.
• Track key implementation indicators and contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities.

Required profile

• Highly organized, proactive, and mission‑driven.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Nepal.
• Experience or interest in education program coordination.
