About the role
The Head of Department (HOD) for Interior Design & Architecture will lead the academic unit at Up Skills Academy, overseeing curriculum delivery, faculty development, and student success in Kathmandu.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage departmental operations and academic programs to ensure smooth academic delivery.
- Supervise, mentor, and support faculty members and students for continuous growth and development.
- Develop and update industry‑focused curricula, training programs, and learning activities.
- Ensure high standards of teaching quality, student learning outcomes, and project execution.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals and academic partners.
- Conduct student counseling sessions and provide career guidance in interior design and architecture.
- Support student development through internships, workshops, portfolio guidance, and industry exposure.
- Coordinate departmental activities, events, and initiatives to enhance the overall learning experience.
