House Manager & Ladies Warden

About the role

The Association for the welfare of Abandoned Children (AWAC) is looking for a dedicated House Manager and Ladies Warden to oversee daily household operations and ensure a safe, supportive environment for children in its orphanage home located in Hemja, Pokhara.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise household staff and coordinate daily chores, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Monitor and support the wellbeing of female residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, manage procurement, and keep accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, the Children Act 1991, and orphanage operational standards.
• Assist in organizing meals, laundry, and other routine activities for the children.

Required profile

• Completed 10+2 education with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Age above 30 years.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Married couples are highly encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
