HR Officer – Learning & Development

About the role

The HR Officer (L&D) will manage learning and development initiatives while supporting broader HR functions. Based on‑site in Kathmandu, the role involves designing training programs, identifying skill gaps and coordinating employee development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs aligned with organisational needs.
• Conduct training needs analysis and identify skill gaps.
• Coordinate development activities and monitor L&D program effectiveness.
• Create and update job descriptions and implement HR policies.
• Maintain accurate HR records and support employee‑relations initiatives.
• Collaborate with managers and cross‑functional teams on training requirements.
• Contribute to HR projects that enhance organisational capability.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in HR, including HR management, policies and employee relations.
• Background in Learning & Development – training needs analysis, program design and facilitation.
• Experience developing job descriptions and aligning roles with business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu.
