Inbound & Outbound Tour Officer

About the role

The Inbound & Outbound Tour Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating domestic and international tour arrangements. This role ensures a seamless travel experience from the initial inquiry through to the completion of the tour, acting as the main point of contact for clients and travel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inquiries and bookings for inbound and outbound tours.
• Prepare customized itineraries, quotations, and travel proposals.
• Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, guides, and other suppliers.
• Manage tour bookings, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations.
• Arrange visa and travel documentation where applicable.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates throughout the booking process.
• Collaborate with international partners, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and local suppliers.
• Ensure smooth coordination of accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, and activities.
• Follow up on payments, pending confirmations, and resolve customer queries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, clients, quotations, and related documents.
• Assist in developing and promoting tour packages.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in tour operations, travel consultancy, ticketing or a related field (advantageous).
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
• Experience with travel booking systems and online travel platforms.
