IT Network & Cloud Infrastructure Administrator (Microsoft Azure)

About the role

The client seeks an experienced IT Network & Cloud Infrastructure Administrator focused on Microsoft Azure, SD‑WAN, LAN, VPN and security. The role combines hands‑on technical work, Tier 2/3 support and vendor coordination, with occasional after‑hours availability for critical incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and optimise Microsoft Azure resources, ensuring performance, cost‑efficiency and compliance with security policies.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure including SD‑WAN, LAN, VPN, firewalls, routing and switching across hybrid on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, resolve tickets, perform system updates, patching, backups and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, audits and remediation to uphold IT security and compliance standards.
• Document network architecture, configurations and produce performance and compliance reports.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in IT systems or infrastructure administration.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft Azure environments and managing SD‑WAN/LAN in multi‑site settings.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent documentation skills.
