Junior Assistant Service Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Assistant Service Engineer to join our technical team. The role involves installing, commissioning and maintaining Colour Bank painting equipment at customer sites, providing after‑sales support and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission Colour Bank equipment at customer locations.
• Load software, configure systems and perform basic troubleshooting of Colour Bank solutions.
• Provide after‑sales service and technical support to customers.
• Diagnose and repair X‑Press painting tools and related equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, electronic, software and hardware issues.
• Coordinate with customers to understand technical problems and deliver timely solutions.
• Maintain service records, installation reports and repair documentation.
• Travel extensively to customer sites for installations and service calls.
• Ensure professional customer service and prompt resolution of complaints.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2–3 years of experience in servicing, installation, maintenance or technical support.
• Experience in the paints industry is preferred, but candidates from other technical service backgrounds are welcome.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
