Junior Food Technologist – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Food Technologist to join our client’s production facility in Chitwan. This entry‑level position offers fresh graduates the chance to gain hands‑on experience in quality assurance, food safety and laboratory testing within a fast‑growing food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct raw material, in‑process and finished‑product quality tests in line with established standards.
• Monitor plant hygiene, sanitation practices and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and other food‑safety guidelines.
• Perform chemical, physical and sensory analyses; record results in lab notebooks, logs and quality reports.
• Support production teams by tracking batch processing, reducing losses and verifying recipe adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology (B.Tech Food or B.Sc. Food Tech) completed.
• Recent graduate or fresh‑entry candidate; prior internship or lab experience in food processing is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Chitwan.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of food chemistry and microbiology.
• Understanding of HACCP and GMP food‑safety regulations.
• Experience with basic analytical testing methods.
