Language Instructor

About the role

Education Asia is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Language Instructor to teach German, Korean, and Japanese on a part‑time basis in Kathmandu. The role involves delivering engaging, student‑centered lessons that help learners achieve proficiency for study, work, or migration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality language classes following the curriculum.
• Teach reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar skills.
• Create an interactive, student‑focused learning environment.
• Assess learners’ proficiency, monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct quizzes, mock tests and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and classroom activities.
• Stay updated on modern teaching methodologies and examination formats.
• Support students preparing for internationally recognised language exams.
• Collaborate with the academic team to improve course quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience teaching German, Korean or Japanese.
• Passion for language education and ability to motivate students.
• Commitment to professional standards and academic excellence.

Required skills

• Fluency in at least one of the target languages (German, Korean, Japanese).
• Proven experience in designing and delivering language lessons.
• Knowledge of language assessment methods and exam preparation.
