Legal Officer

About the role

The Legal Officer will support Nepal Can Group’s diverse operations—including logistics, delivery, and digital services—by providing comprehensive legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, handling litigation matters, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and finalize commercial agreements, vendor contracts, lease agreements, employment contracts, and other legal documents.
• Prepare case‑related documents and manage court‑related and litigation matters.
• Monitor applicable laws, rules, and regulations and advise relevant departments on legal implications.
• Handle corporate and regulatory filings, including company registrations, renewals, amendments, and statutory submissions before authorities.
• Maintain and update legal records, contracts, litigation files, corporate documents, and compliance trackers.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support and advice to various departments and perform other legal duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Completed BA LLB degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in a legal role, preferably within courier, logistics, or related fields (freshers with the right attitude are welcome).
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both Nepali and English.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence and personal two‑wheeler.
