About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Nepal is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support flood and emergency response operations. The role will involve coordinating procurement and logistics activities in line with IOM rules, donor requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

Provide logistics support for flood and emergency response operations, ensuring compliance with IOM procedures and donor guidelines.
Liaise with government authorities, customs offices, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other stakeholders to facilitate cargo clearance and distribution.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, accounting or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or secondary education with 4 years of experience.
Fluency in English and Nepali (oral and written) is mandatory.

Required skills

Experience in logistics operations, warehouse and inventory management, customs clearance, cargo transportation and distribution of goods.
High level of computer literacy.
