Manager – Production Planning, Control & Inventory

About the role

Hulas Infra Ltd is seeking a Manager to own production planning and inventory control across its steel and infrastructure manufacturing divisions. The role will ensure SAP Business One’s production and inventory modules deliver accurate stock, traceable material, and reliable job costing.

Key responsibilities

• Convert the order book into stage‑wise production plans for built‑up, cold‑formed, galvanizing and wire lines.
• Maintain and optimise the bill of materials structure, including wastage norms and by‑product handling.
• Raise, sequence and monitor production orders; drive MRP runs and translate recommendations into purchase and production orders.
• Report daily achievement, yield, scrap and rejection against targets.
• Ensure stock accuracy of 99.5% or better, run cycle counts, reconcile monthly and investigate variances.
• Maintain work‑in‑progress visibility across all WIP warehouses and control batch traceability from mill test certificates to erected members.
• Own item master, BOM and warehouse master data standards in SAP Business One and enforce segregation of duties.
• Lead, train and build the planning, stores and ERP entry team; manage daily and monthly reporting rhythms with production, quality and finance.

Required profile

• Proven production planning experience in a make‑to‑order fabrication environment where each contract has its own drawings, BOMs and item codes.
• Hands‑on ERP experience, preferably with SAP Business One, and ability to explain production order releases, issues and goods issue constraints.
• Strong analytical skills to design, implement and audit planning and inventory control frameworks.
• Leadership capability to build and coach cross‑functional teams.
