Medical Representative – Kathmandu

About the role

The Medical Representative will be responsible for promoting Arya PharmaLab’s pharmaceutical portfolio to healthcare professionals across Kathmandu. This field‑based position involves building relationships, delivering product information, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and detail the company’s pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and key customers.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives within the territory.
• Conduct regular field visits to doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and other healthcare institutions.
• Communicate product information, benefits and appropriate usage to healthcare professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, product movement and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with distributors and stockists to ensure product availability.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, interactions, sales activities and territory performance.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the reporting manager.
• Participate in product launches, promotional activities and medical meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Management or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical sales is an advantage; fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also be considered.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong customer‑relationship building skills and a self‑motivated, target‑oriented attitude.
• Good knowledge of the Kathmandu healthcare and pharmaceutical market is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
