Payment Recovery Specialist – Food Industry

About the role

The Payment Recovery Specialist supports the Legal Manager in collecting overdue payments from customers in the food manufacturing sector. The role involves direct interaction with clients, coordination with sales and legal teams, and execution of recovery strategies to protect company cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up with customers via calls and meetings to recover overdue payments.
• Execute payment recovery actions as directed by the Legal Manager.
• Coordinate with sales, legal, and other departments to resolve payment issues.
• Assist in initiating blacklisting procedures for chronic defaulters according to company policy.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for legal recovery cases.
• Track recovery cases, follow up on legal notices, and ensure timely actions.
• Maintain accurate records of communications, recovery status, and legal proceedings.
• Prepare periodic reports on outstanding payments and recovery progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Law, Business Administration, Finance or a related field (or +2/Bachelor currently in progress).
• 1 year of experience in payment recovery, collections, legal coordination, accounts receivable or a similar role is preferred.
• Valid two‑wheel vehicle license.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and recovery‑related activities.
