Plant Administration Manager

About the role

The Plant Administration Manager will act as the primary liaison between Brilliant Lighting Industries and local government bodies in Rupandehi. This role ensures smooth administrative operations of the manufacturing plant, covering utilities, compliance, and vendor management. Strong local networks are essential for success.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the company at government offices, local authorities and the labour office in Rupandehi.
• Manage physical customs clearance, coordinate with clearing agents and resolve holds or delays.
• Support SEZ operational matters on the ground, assisting the documentation team.
• Oversee utilities such as electricity, water, load management and ensure continuous supply.
• Handle labour office matters, statutory notices and ensure local statutory compliance.
• Administer plant facilities including security, canteen, transport and general upkeep.
• Maintain local plant HR records – attendance, leave and recruitment support.
• Manage relationships with local vendors and service providers.
• Coordinate community and neighbour relations and promptly escalate regulatory or operational risks.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in plant administration, facilities or industrial operations.
• Proven ability to work with government offices, customs authorities and labour offices.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent network within Rupandehi’s local authorities and service providers.
• Ability to manage multiple administrative functions simultaneously.
