About the role
The Program Manager will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of Red Panda Network Nepal’s conservation programmes across multiple districts. Reporting to the Chairperson, the role combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day management of the head‑office and field activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide overall technical and managerial leadership for programmes in project districts.
- Coordinate regularly with the RPN Board, donors, government agencies and partners, delivering timely progress updates.
- Lead annual and periodic programme planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and review.
- Ensure activities follow approved workplans, budgets, log‑frames and donor agreements.
- Guide field teams, conduct field visits, and offer technical support to communities and partners.
- Monitor project performance against indicators, targets and milestones.
- Maintain systems for data collection, management, analysis and reporting.
Required profile
- Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in programme management, preferably in conservation or NGOs.
- Proven ability to coordinate multi‑stakeholder projects and manage budgets.
- Experience reporting to senior management and donor agencies.
- Willingness to travel frequently to field sites in Nepal.
