Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator will lead the planning, coordination and implementation of a child‑protection project in Manthali Municipality, ensuring that interventions meet high standards and place beneficiaries at the centre of all decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and update annual, quarterly and monthly implementation plans.
• Ensure project activities align with the approved proposal, logical framework, budget and organisational policies.
• Coordinate all components – child protection, temporary protection services, case management, family reintegration, alternative care and community mobilisation.
• Monitor progress against outputs, outcomes, targets and indicators; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project calendars, implementation trackers and risk registers.
• Work with the Finance and Administration Officer to manage financial resources, procurement, logistics and assets in line with donor requirements.
• Provide mentorship, guidance and supervision to the project team, building capacity to deliver quality results.

Required profile

• At least 60 months (5 years) of experience in project coordination, preferably in child protection or related development sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor performance, assess risks and propose improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
