Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Presenton is building an AI‑powered presentation generation platform delivered via cloud, API/SDK, desktop apps, and self‑hosted deployments. We are looking for a QA Engineer to own product quality across rapidly evolving AI and software workflows, working closely with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Test new features across web applications, APIs, desktop applications, and self‑hosted deployments.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end‑to‑end testing of complex presentation‑generation workflows.
• Validate REST APIs, request/response schemas, authentication flows, error handling, and integrations.
• Reproduce customer‑reported issues and provide clear, actionable bug reports.
• Build and maintain regression test suites and automated end‑to‑end/API tests.
• Collaborate with developers to identify edge cases early and verify fixes.
• Test enterprise features such as SSO, permissions, multi‑user workflows, and deployment configuration.
• Investigate difficult issues using browser developer tools, logs, API responses, and basic database queries.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of experience in software QA or a similar engineering role.
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and test case design.
• Experience testing modern web applications and REST APIs.
• Ability to write detailed bug reports with reproducible steps and relevant environment information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
