Radio Communication Engineer

About the role

The Radio Communication Engineer designs, commissions, tests, troubleshoots and maintains professional two‑way radio communication systems. You will work with DMR, HF/VHF/UHF, handheld, base and repeater equipment, as well as dispatch platforms and related infrastructure to ensure reliable communication for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals, system architecture and solution designs based on customer requirements.
• Design and recommend HF, VHF, UHF, DMR and related radio communication systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, commission and maintain handheld/portable radios, mobile radios, base stations, repeaters, antennas, RF systems, duplexers, combiners and dispatch platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, faults, repairs and system status.
• Provide technical training to customers, partners and internal staff as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently throughout Nepal.
