About the role
We are looking for a Regional Technical Manager to lead fiber route operations and maintenance for a leading ISP. The role involves overseeing field teams, handling outages, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage regional fiber route operations and maintenance.
- Supervise splicers, technicians, helpers and patrollers.
- Monitor outages, field performance and daily activities.
- Coordinate with NOC, ONM, administration and support teams.
- Conduct route inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Handle major outages, escalations and emergency issues.
- Plan manpower and oversee field deployment.
- Ensure safety, discipline, attendance and operational compliance.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of experience in fiber field operations or technical management.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Networking or a related field.
