Network Engineer

About the role

The organization is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of all networking components.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related devices.
• Set up secure remote access and site‑to‑site VPNs (IPsec, SSL, GRE) and support Zero Trust architecture.
• Implement redundancy, high‑availability, failover, and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Manage firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across LAN, WAN, MPLS, and cloud networks.
• Monitor performance metrics such as bandwidth, latency, and traffic utilization.
• Integrate on‑premises networks with cloud networking services.
• Configure essential services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, RADIUS, TACACS+, and AAA.
• Maintain documentation, IP address plans, topology diagrams, and configuration backups.
• Participate in incident, change, and root‑cause management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in Tier II‑IV data centers, ISPs, telecom, cloud providers, or enterprise networks.
• CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, routing and switching.
• Hands‑on experience with Arista EOS, Spine‑Leaf architecture, and Cisco/Fortinet/Juniper platforms.
• Proficiency with Palo Alto NGFW, NAT, IPsec VPN, GlobalProtect, SSL decryption, MPLS, load balancing, ZTP, and URL filtering.
• Experience with EVPN‑VXLAN overlays, BGP, OSPF, ECMP, STP, VRRP/HSRP.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, RADIUS, TACACS+, and AAA services.
• Strong troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and 24/7 on‑call support readiness.
