Reservations Officer

About the role

The Reservations Officer is a full‑time position based in Kathmandu, responsible for managing reservations for DOOLWA’s glamping stays. The role involves responding to guest inquiries, confirming bookings, updating reservation systems, and coordinating with on‑site operations to ensure a seamless booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest inquiries via phone, email and online platforms, providing information on availability, packages and policies.
• Confirm bookings, update reservation and CRM systems, and maintain accurate guest records.
• Upsell packages, upgrades and additional services to maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with the front office and operations teams to support smooth check‑in and overall guest satisfaction.
• Assist with payment processing, resolve booking issues, and support guest communication prior to arrival.

Required profile

• Strong reservations and airline ticketing skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Sales aptitude for promoting packages and upgrades.
• Basic computer literacy and experience using reservation/CRM software.
• Prior experience in hospitality, travel or tourism; camp or resort experience is a plus.
• Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism or a related field; proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
