Residential / Hostel Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Residential / Hostel Teacher to supervise and support students living on campus at Golden Peak High School. The role combines academic assistance with pastoral care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for boarders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic support and remedial teaching during study hours, especially in Science and Mathematics.
• Maintain a disciplined, safe, and nurturing hostel atmosphere through routine management.
• Support students’ emotional, physical, and social well‑being, offering guidance and motivation.
• Promote self‑discipline and positive behaviour among residents.
• Oversee safety and security during meals, daily routines, and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents and coordinate with school staff, keeping records of student progress and conduct.
• Organise and supervise recreational, cultural and co‑curricular activities for holistic development.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience working with students in a residential or boarding setting.
• Strong background in Science and/or Mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and maintain a safe, disciplined, and supportive environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Science curricula.
• Knowledge of Mathematics curricula.
