Resource Development and Program Quality Director

About the role

The Resource Development and Program Quality (RDPQ) Director leads World Vision International Nepal’s efforts to secure diversified funding and ensure program excellence. Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines strategic fundraising with rigorous quality and compliance oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the acquisitions team to secure non‑sponsorship funding from grants, corporate social investment, impact investments and development bank contracts.
• Develop and execute a multi‑year funding strategy aligned with the Nepal Country Strategy and donor landscape.
• Ensure all projects meet donor, government and World Vision technical quality and compliance requirements.
• Streamline design, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems to improve evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Oversee the Nepal Innovation Lab, fostering new thinking and securing adequate funding for its operations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in resource development, fundraising or grant acquisition within an international NGO.
• Deep understanding of donor requirements, compliance standards and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
• Strong strategic planning abilities and experience managing high‑performing teams.
• Track record of delivering multi‑year funding pipelines and achieving ambitious targets.
