Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales growth and expand the company’s presence in the diagnostic and pathology laboratory market across the assigned region. Reporting to senior management, you will develop strategies, manage client relationships and mentor a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for the region.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the diagnostic/pathology lab segment.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to align sales efforts.
• Recruit, train and mentor the sales team, set targets and monitor performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals and diagnostic labs.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows.
• Identify potential clients, establish partnerships and promote diagnostic solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing to create tailored campaigns and promotions.
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts and market analysis for senior management.
• Monitor sales metrics, adjust strategies as needed and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 5–7 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the laboratory or healthcare sector.
• Proven track record in managing regional sales operations and achieving targets.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare/laboratory market and customer segments.
• Experience in team leadership, sales planning and performance management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region and a valid two‑wheeler driving licence.
